This means what it says - this iPod is up to date, it has the latest version of iOS that it can use If you look for updates, you will see a message telling to you that your software is up to date. Then there was a list of the more recent generations of iPod, one of which specifically mentioned iOS 6.1.6, which you now state that you have: 4th generation can update only as fgar as iOS 6.1.6. That was the first thing I wrote, followed by something you could do, on your iPod.
